Studio Planner

Studio scheduling and related public venue experiences for managers, teachers and visitors.

My role

extended studio scheduling, delegated bookings and privacy-aware calendars, and built a related public venue frontend.

The problem

Managers need to book on behalf of teachers, spot recurring conflicts, and publish class information without exposing private records.

The approach

Connected delegated booking, recurrence previews, conflict alternatives, and a separate public schedule within one scheduling workflow.

What it enables

Lets managers review a series before booking, find alternatives when times conflict, and share a calendar that contains only publishable class information.

The work,
and its boundaries.

Manager-assisted scheduling

supports individual and recurring bookings on behalf of an authorized teacher, with a record of who made the change.

Plan before committing

previews the proposed series and offers alternatives that respect studio hours and booking buffers.

Architecture

uses the same scheduling rules for previews and confirmed bookings, reducing mismatches between what a manager sees and what gets reserved.

Public calendar

publishes a limited view of eligible classes rather than exposing teacher profiles or the full private booking record.

Visitor experience

a separate venue website presents confirmed public classes, instructor discovery and inquiries, with stored event registrations and confirmation-email integration. Ordinary classes use contact actions, not native checkout.
