DeFi Learning & Practice Prototype

An educational application combining plain-language explanations, safety assessments and guided virtual-portfolio practice.

My role

Built learning UI, educational service modules and the connection between Shadow Mode and its API.

The problem

DeFi learners face unfamiliar terminology and risk decisions before they have enough context or practice to understand the consequences.

The approach

Built an educational interface with short assessments and a backend-connected Shadow Mode that lets learners observe model portfolios and practice decisions using virtual positions.

What it enables

Implemented interactive learning and simulated practice paths without presenting demo portfolio figures as real returns or user outcomes.

The work,
and its boundaries.

Safety assessments

Scenario and multiple-choice questions provide scoring and explanations around wallet security and investment red flags.

Guided practice

Shadow sessions expose model portfolios, virtual positions and proposed changes with a choice of how much to mirror.

Progress journey

Session states and milestones support observing, guided practice and increasing independence, including pause/resume actions.

High-level design

A web learning experience talks to an Express API, with shared types and database models alongside demo-oriented practice stores.

Scope

Educational prototype with seeded/in-memory examples and simulated portfolios; not verified live trading, financial advice or an on-chain protection guarantee.

Technology

Let’s make your next project workable.

Talk with me about the product, the engineering and the decisions that need to stay with people.
